Woman killed

Residents?living at the close-knit Fisher Pond St Thomas community were left in shock yesterday morning when resident Moreta Forde, 53, was discovered dead with her throat slashed, in her house which was also set on fire.
Relatives and neighbours broke down in tears as they stood outside her home trying to figure out who could possibly want to harm Forde and in such a grusesome manner.
A corporate specialist at LIME, Forde was described as a devoted christian who was always willing to help those in need.
Police were up to last night carrying out investigations. Forde lived alone and had no children.
Relatives were further disturbed that someone also tried to set fire to a house which she was in the process of completion at nearby Groves Terrace.
