RECENTLY we heard journalist Keith Holder interviewing Dover manager Vincent Lashley who expressed the difficulty of simultaneously managing two teams.

We also heard on the Best And Mason show how unpleasant the Dover cricket team were entering First Division for the first time.

The questions must be asked of Lashley and the Dover management: why didn’t they do their homework?

Why did they not come to a compromise with the Barbados Cricket Association with on not playing at home? As the saying goes: “failing to prepare is preparing to fail”.
