Wukking up not appropriate child’s play

I TOTALLY AGREE with the sentiments expressed by George Griffith in his letter about setting good examples for children and not allowing them to sing about wuk-king up in their songs for the Junior Monarch Competition.

I am referring specifically to the Hypa Kids who, along with their father Li’l Rick, aka Hypa Dawg, and big brother, Unda Dawg, provided entertainment after Junior Kadooment during the interval before the Junior Monarch Competition started.

To see Li’l Rick and his teenaged son gyrating on stage was one thing, but to see the ten-year-old boy attempt to do as daddy and big brother were doing was just a bit too much to endure.

The Hypa Kids are talented and I enjoy watching them perform but not if they degenerate into two wuk-up kids like their father and brother. It just does not seem right.
