There has been another shooting incident this morning.

Hours after responding to a shooting in Silver Hill, Christ Church, police were called to Westbury, St Michael, after residents said they heard shots just after 10 a.m.

This is in the area near the pasture behind Westbury Primary School.

Earlier this morning, a 53-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance after a shooting incident in Silver Hill.

This continues a recent spate of shootings, as last week Patricia Clarke was shot and killed in Civilian Road, Bush Hall, St Michael, and her daughter Keelia was grazed with a bullet.

Twenty-six-year-old Donason Husbands was also shot and killed after disembarking from a cruise last week. (NATIONNEWS)
