Barbados has recorded another road fatality.
A three-car collision which occurred last night on Government Hill Road, St Michael has left a 71-year old woman dead.
She is Joan Alleyne of 107 Warners Park, Christ Church.
The accident occurred around 8.25 pm.
Alleyne was a passenger in one of the vehicles driven by Derrick Lowe, 39, of Richmond Gap, St. Michael. Lowe complained of pains to his neck, right hand and right foot. His two other passengers complained of pains about their bodies.
A second vehicle was driven by Kenneth Forde, 53, of Murrell Gap, Belmont Road, St. Michael. He complained of pain to the left side of his chest.
The third vehicle was driven by Zamani Williams, 39, of Government Hill, St. Michael.
The injured persons were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulances.
