Could be a rainy Monday

Barbadians may have to brace for more bad weather after escaping the fury of Tropical Storm Ernesto yesterday with minimal damage, including that caused by two trees crashing into homes.
Meteorologist David Best told the SATURDAY?SUN that another weather system was en route to the island and the forecast was for rain Monday and Tuesday.
However, Best said the showers accompanying the new system, a tropical wave, would not be of the same intensity as Ernesto’s.
“Barbadians can be faced on Monday, Kadooment Day, with partly cloudy skies, scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms, as a result of that tropical wave we are expecting to move in late Sunday into Monday,” he said. (MK)
