ENGLAND drew first blood, defeating Barbados 72-41 in the opening “Test” of their netball series, in London, today.
The English lasses led every quarter, with leads of 23-12, 37-19 and 54-29 as Barbados started with a line-up of Laurel Browne (goal shoot), Nikita Piggott (goal attack), Shakira Springer (wing attack), Sabreena Smith (centre), Kizzy Marville (wing defence), Latonia Blackman (goal defence) and Rhe-Ann Niles (goal keeper).
