Shoppers return to Trimart

The sounds of cash registers ringing and happy shoppers interacting with workers once again filled the Trimart flagship supermarket at Haggatt Hall, St Michael, with the store reopening yesterday morning after being closed for the past few days.
With the shelves filled with new goods, the shoppers seemed pleased, and no one seemed happier than manager Richard Yearwood, who said that many of Trimart’s regular shoppers had been calling every day enquiring when the store would reopen.
“We are very happy to reopen to satisfy our customers, as well as to get our staff back on track in terms of employment,” Yearwood said.
“Our customers are accustomed to great choice and great value and we intend to continue that tradition. This reopening has come in the nick of time as October is often a busy time and we plan to maintain that momentum through the Independence season right through to Christmas,” Yearwood stated. (BA)
