TOP FIGURES of Neal & Massy in Trinidad and Tobago are flying into Barbados today for an important meeting with Government officials over the future of Almond Resorts Limited.
Well placed sources tell the DAILY NATION that the team will be headed by Gervase Warner, managing director and chief executive officer of the Trinidadian conglomerate.
Neal & Massy has been trying for nearly a year to offload the local hotel group as it continues to rack up millions of dollars in losses and complaints from Neal & Massy shareholders that Almond had become a major drag on the conglomerate’s profits.
This development comes amid an announcement today from Almond to its shareholders that the group’s losses were continuing to rise.
