Ready for the Nation’s Funathalon

Hundreds of last minute walkers and runners are today registering for the Nation’s Funathalon.
The 10k Funwalk and Fun Run comes off tomorrow.
Today’s registration continues at the Nation’s Sheraton Office until 5 p.m. while registration at Fontabelle, St Michael closes at 3:30 p.m.
The Fun Run starts at 5:45 a.m. while the Funwalk starts at 6 a.m.
The route for the event starts at Bay Street Esplanade and proceeds onto the Chamberlain Bridge then Wharf Road and Hincks Street. It then continues onto the Princess Alice Highway, Prescod Boulevard and Holborn Circle before proceeding onto Spring Garden to reach Brighton Junction.
The return route is via Spring Garden to Fontabelle and continuing to Broad Street. Then it follows on to Bridge Street and onto Probyn Street before ending at Bay Street Esplanade.
Motorists are asked to note that while the roads remain open, they may experience some delays. (PR)
