Holder to talk crime

FRESH FROM SIGNING a hefty asset sharing agreement with the Dominican Republic, United States Attorney General Eric Holder will meet with Prime Minister Freundel?Stuart and Attorney?General Adriel?Brathwaite tomorrow.
Theirs will be the highlight of a series of talks which will include a meeting with Attorneys General of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States. Afterwards, Holder will address the media at the US Embassy in Wildey.
Holder, whose mission to Barbados, Trinidad and the Dominican Republic is to step up the US Justice Department’s fight against transnational crime, on Monday signed an agreement to share approximately US$37 million (BDS$74 million) in forfeited assets between the US and the Dominican Office of the Prosecutor General.  (RJ)
