Days after its closure, the section from Forde’s Road to Amity Lodge, Christ Church, reopened around 3 p.m. today.
The road was closed on January 29 after stones from the limestone rock bluff on Rendezvous Hill fell and hampered vehicular access.
Officials at the Ministry of Transport, Works and Maintenance removed trees, cleared the area and widened the path.
Minister of Transport William Duguid, who was at the scene, promised that a pedestrian walkway would be constructed. (TG)
