PM meets with cricketers

It was a girls’ day out.

The Windies women’s players brought cricket to Parliament today as Bajans Hayley Matthews, Deandra Dottin, Shamilia Connell and Shakera Selman met Prime Minister Mia Mottley in the flesh during a special ceremony.

And they didn’t come empty-handed either, having brought the Women’s Twenty20 trophy with them as the tournament’s reigning world champions. (JM)
