NSC: Health before dollars

Health and safety is the National Sports Council’s (NSC) priority during the current coronavirus global pandemic, not making money from rental of the Wildey Gymnasium.

This is the view of Director of Sport, Neil Murrell, regarding the loss of revenue the NSC would incur from the postponement of all activities originally slated for the Wildey Gymnasium.

“I don’t think people are so much worried about the bottom line. I think people are more worried about their health and the truth is, everyone should be worried about their health at this time,” he told NATION SPORT.

“The most important thing to me is the health of my family and those who work with me, not really losses,” said Murrell, who was appointed to the top NSC post earlier this year. (RG)
