On Friday, April 24; Saturday, April 25; Friday, May 1; and Saturday, May 2, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., there will be temporary traffic management changes in the area of the Cheapside Public Market, Cheapside, St Michael.
A statement from The Royal Barbados Police Force said the restrictions are as a result of the curfew imposed to limit the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The changes are:
ROAD CLOSURE
Cheapside Road from its junction with St George Street to its junction with Redman Drive and Fontabelle Road, St Michael, will be closed to all vehicular traffic except for public service vehicles travelling in the direction of Fontabelle.
