They say the coronavirus pandemic is having a devastating impact on the industry.
Florists and flower farmers reported that almost all of their markets have been lost, workers had to be sent home and they were struggling to make ends meet.
Owner of The Flower Pot, Dorothea Pierre, said she incurred major losses because there were no business functions, and only a few funerals and celebratory events such as weddings required her services. (SB)
