Mother of missing man clings to hope

Rosetta White is still hoping and praying her 19-year-old son Alexander Sherwin Joseph White will come home after weeks of being missing.

Last Tuesday, a tractor operator discovered a decomposing body at the bottom of a quarry at Lower Estate, St Michael, and although the mother said police asked for Alexander’s dental records, she still had not prepared herself for the worst.

“No mother don’t want to face nothing so, but I am thinking if that is it . . .

“This is almost a month now. He left home on May 15. Sometimes he would spend a day and a half or two days out. Barbados is a small place and somebody should have seen him by now, unless [there was] foul play. Barbados is so small and his picture all over the Internet and the newspaper.
