The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 228 tests yesterday, 160 of them at the request of cruise ships anchored off Barbados. They were all negative for novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Ministry of Health and Wellness said, as a result, the statistical information for Barbados remains the same today. No one will be released from isolation, so seven people remain at Harrison Point, St Lucy. Ninety-seven people have been diagnosed with the viral illness, 83 have recovered, and seven have died.

The tally of tests conducted by the public health laboratory now stands at 6 960. (BGIS)
