TWO BROTHERS who initially denied any involvement in a killing, and lied about their whereabouts to police, will be sentenced on June 30 after throwing in the towel in the No. 2 Supreme Court.

Antonio Renaldo Devere Atwell, 19 then and now 25, and Arlond Elroy Atwell, then 22 now 28, were arraigned on June 29, with, and pleaded not guilty to, murdering Travis Austin, formerly of Prior Park, St James, on February 4, 2014.

They, however, pleaded guilty to unlawfully killing him – manslaughter.

Pre-sentencing and psychological reports are already in evidence and full submissions on sentence were heard during a Maximum Sentence Indication.

Justice Randall Worrell will deliver the sentence on the two, who were represented by attorney Safiya Moore. (HLE)
