The Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training said today it has not yet issued information on the start of the new school year and a social media post, which claims otherwise, is false.
The post erroneously states that the ministry has released the 2020- 2021 academic calendar.
The ministry said in a statement that any public information will be announced by the Minister of Education or ministry officials, and will be disseminated through official channels such as the Barbados Government Information Service. (BGIS)
