New Minister of Transport, Works and Water Resources Ian Gooding-Edghill is on the job.

He arrived at the Ministry of Transport and Works in The Pine, St Michael this morning, flanked by Minister in the Ministry of Water Resources, Charles Griffith, and permanent secretary Mark Cummins.

Gooding-Edghill said he was about to be briefed by Cummins and once this was done, he would be in a better position to provide periodic updates.

Meanwhile, Griffith, who was previously Minister in the Ministry of Housing, said it was a new journey, a new job, and he was there to get the job done.

Gooding-Edghill was promoted from the backbench in Prime Minister Mia Mottley’s Cabinet reshuffle last Wednesday and Griffith was shifted. (CA)
