Deportee fixed on returning to US

CAUGHT WITH CANNABIS, William Henry Murrell’s major concern was about one thing – his chances of returning to the United States.

Murrell, 40, of Promenade Road, Bush Hall, St Michael, revealed he had been deported from the United States but had plans to return in the future.

The unemployed man, who was in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court yesterday, had just confessed to having cannabis on June 4.

“I plead guilty and I asking for drug rehab. I was planning to leave the country in a couple years and I want to know if it will go on my record,” he told the court.(HLE)
