Three visitors, including a five-year-old boy, are the latest COVID-19-positive cases in Barbados.

The boy and a 38-year-old male, both British, are known contacts of an earlier case confirmed on August 18. They tested positive on Monday and were transferred to the isolation facility at Harrison Point, St Lucy.

A 31-year-old male Colombian visitor tested positive on arrival at the Grantley Adams International Airport on Monday.

There are now 164 confirmed cases and 25 people in isolation. No one was discharged from isolation today, so the number of recoveries remains at 132.

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 179 tests yesterday, bringing the total number to 15 990. (BGIS)
