Division two volleyball kings Deacons ended the Goddard Enterprises Limited lower division season on Tuesday night in the same regal manner they ended the junior knockouts more than five months ago.

Deacons climaxed the 2020 season with a win over Chargers in the junior knockout finals and on Tuesday night at Oldbury, St Philip, when they stopped their arch-rivals 25-20, 14-25, 15-6 in a game which was moved indoors after three previous fixtures were rained out.

That victory allowed Deacons to finish 9/1with 25 points. The loss placed Chargers third although they ended with a record of 7/3 and 20 points the same as Wow Foundation.  (KB)
