Only eight left in recovery

No one tested positive for COVID-19 in Barbados for the third consecutive day, but one person will be discharged from the isolation facility at Harrison Point, St Lucy, after recovering from the viral illness.

Barbados has now recorded 174 recoveries and the number in isolation fell to eight. Conformed cases remain at 189, comprising 102 females and 87 males.

There were seven deaths since the first case in March.

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory completed 21 972 tests up to Tuesday. (PR/SAT)
