President of the Barbados Alliance to End Homelessness Kemar Saffrey has called for greater inter-agency collaboration to assist homeless people.

His comments came after the body of a homeless man was discovered on Thursday morning on the path to the gazebo in Independence Square, The City.

Saffrey said this was the third time in as many days he was called to a sighting of a homeless person.

He said the man was well known to him, as he was a regular client and had stayed at the shelter during the COVID-19 lockdown. (RA)
