David Comissiong has taken to the stage at the Barbados Labour Party’s (BLP) Splash Rally in Silver Sands, Christ Church.

And as the social activist and attorney-at-law endorsed Mia Mottley and the BLP, he has not pulled any punches.

“Barbados cannot bear another five years of the Freundel Stuart Democratic Labour Party regime,” Comissiong said.

“It is as simple as that. And in my opinion, and I believe in the opinion of every patriotic Bajan who really loves and cares about their country, the truth is that this BLP under the leadership of Mia Amor Mottley is the best option for Barbados at this time,” he added.

Comissiong unsuccessfully ran against the BLP as leader of the People’s Empowerment Party in the 2008 elections, ultimately losing the St Michael Central. (AD)
