Barbados recorded 11 new COVID-19 cases out of the 466 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Wednesday.
They are three Barbadians, two males aged 28 and 37 and a 43-year-old female; two male residents aged 41 and 43; and six visitors – four males, aged 27, 34, 41 and 55, and two females aged 51 and 60.
Five people are symptomatic and the others are asymptomatic. The three Barbadians reside in Christ Church, St Thomas and St James, while the two male residents are from St James and St Peter. The three visitors arrived aboard British Airways and Virgin Atlantic, while the other three came into contact with known cases.
Confirmed cases moved to 383, comprising 203 females and 180 males. Seven people left isolation today, bringing recoveries to 319, and those remaining in isolation to 57. There were seven deaths since the first case was detected.
