Police are carrying out investigations into the unnatural death of 34-year-old Nicholas John Blagrove, which occurred about 3:45 p.m. today.

A report made to Black Rock Police Station stated that a group of men were liming and playing a game of dominoes, when a man armed with a gun approached them and fired shots. This caused them to run for cover and resulted in one man being shot.

Ambulance personnel arrived within minutes after the police and having examined the man, reported that there were no signs of life and that the body had a number of wounds which appeared to be gunshot injuries.

The body was later identified by family members as that of Blagrove, of Promenade Road, Bush Hall, St Michael.

Investigations are at a sensitive stage.
