Two employees of Kooyman Barbados tested positive for the coronavirus COVID-19 and the store is closed for contact tracing.

In a brief statement posted on social media, management said the two were quarantined at home since last Friday awaiting the test results.

“We have contacted the COVID Monitoring Unit and were advised to have the primary contacts of these two persons tested as well. We will continue to seek the guidance of the COVID Monitoring Unit on this matter,” the statement said in part.

Last Saturday, an employee in the warehouse tested positive and that area was closed for industrial cleaning. All touch points and employee areas were also sanitised. Primary contacts employee of that worker were sent for testing, but the main store was not closed. (SAT)
