Kemar Murray was remanded to prison following his appearance before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court a short while ago.

Murray, 26, of Jackson Terrace Stage One, St Michael, is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and six rounds of ammunition without a valid permit, and unlawful possession of cannabis, all on Sunday.

He was not required to plead to the indictable firearm and ammunition charges, but he admitted to having the drugs.

The unemployed man, who was represented by attorney Brian Clarke, is scheduled to reappear on August 23. (RA)
