English-born striker Jordan Antonio Brown will have to wait a little longer to represent the Barbados senior national football team.

The 24-year-old forward is in negotiations with officials at the Barbados Football Association (BFA) and has started the application process to obtain a Barbadian passport.

However, the travel document which grants him the green light to represent Barbados will not be completed in time for Barbados’ first FIFA World Cup qualifier against Panama on March 26 in the Dominican Republic.

This was disclosed by BFA president Randy Harris during a live Zoom press conference on Tuesday.
