A morning raid by police officers on a community in Well Gap, Cave Hill, St Michael, recently has left residents enraged.

The raid occurred around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday and the upset men and women said the around 20 officers were wearing masks.

“They were all [in] plainclothes and run straight up the gap here with big rifles. They started firing shots and people were there with children. I mean, if they identified themselves, the people would allow them to do their duty,” one man, who requested anonymity, said.

Kim Walcott said her son Kameil Walcott was one of the young men who was roughed up and threatened by the officers. (CA)
