Only one new COVID case

The only positive COVID-19 case recorded on Sunday, June 13, was that of a male,  identified from among the 300 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

There are currently 17 people in isolation.

Barbados recorded 4 037 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (1 952 females and 2 085 males) since the start of the pandemic in March 2020 and the virus claimed 47 lives.

The public health laboratory carried out 176 862 tests to date.

Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 88 033 first doses of the vaccine were administered. The number of people who received second doses and are fully vaccinated is 62 267. (BGIS)
