Three Barbadian swimmers will aim to make a big splash in the pool this weekend, in a last ditch effort to qualify for the rescheduled 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.

With the biggest sporting event just a month away, Luis Sebastian-Weekes, Danielle Titus and Jack Kirby are set to arrive in Nassau, Bahamas, today to compete in the Bahamas National Swimming Championships at the Betty Kelly Kenning National Stadium.

It will be the final chance for the three local swimmers to clock times, which would put them in contention to represent Barbados at the Olympics.

So far, United States-based Alex Sobers came the closest to qualifying when he clocked three B standard times earlier this year. (AGB)
