For the second time in a week, there was a shooting at a St Michael minimart.

The latest occurred during an attempted robbery on Friday night at Choice Mini Mart at the corner of Gunsite Road and Brittons New Road, Brittons Hill, St Michael.

One man was injured.

The Sunday Sun understands that he was the person who attempted to rob the shop. He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Yesterday, the owner declined to comment but a source said members of the family-owned establishment were still traumatised by the incident. (TG)
