Fogging Schedule August 30 to September 3, 2021

The Vector Control Unit will concentrate its mosquito eradication exercise in the north of the island this week.

Fogging will take place in St Peter on Monday, August 30, at Colleton Gardens, Six Men’s Development and Village, Diamond Corner, Moore Hill, Lower Castle, Upper Castle and environs.

The team will return to St Peter on Tuesday, August 31, and spray Gays Road, Mount #1 and #2, Boscobelle, Boscobelle Terrace, Collins Road, The Risk, Johnson Road, Hurley Close, Hurley Road, Date Tree Hill and surrounding areas.

It will be the turn of Clarke Road, Carbon Road, Greaves Road, Reservoir Road, Millionaire Road, The Whim, Olton Road, Douglas Development, Tom Bend Road, Valencia Drive and neighbouring districts on Wednesday, September 1.

On Thursday, September 2, Heywood Estates, Central Drive, Church Street, Garden Road, Golden Mile Road, Rose Hill, Golden Mile Development and environs will be fogged.

The fogging team will visit St Lucy on Friday, September 3, and spray Checker Hall, Moon Town, Fire Well, Clinketts, and surrounding areas.

Fogging will be conducted from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., each day.  Householders are reminded to open their windows and doors to allow the spray to enter.

The public is reminded that the completion of scheduled fogging activities may be affected by events beyond the control of the Vector Control Unit. In such circumstances, the Unit will return to communities affected in the soonest possible time.  (BGIS)
