Man on multiple charges to appear in court

The Royal Barbados Police Force said today that Dario Jermaine Shorey, 28, of Hinds Gap, Halls Road, St Michael has been charged with a number of criminal and traffic offences which occurred on Monday, September 13, 2021 in the areas of Dash Valley and Constant, St George.

The offences are: Criminal Offences – unlawful possession of one .22 Calibre Pistol, unlawful possession of eight rounds of ammunition and assault.

Traffic Offences: No driving licence, no third-party insurance, failure to register the vehicle, fraudulent use of number plates, driving without due care and attention, driving without reasonable consideration for other persons using the road, dangerous driving, failing to stop at the sound of the siren.

In addition, he was charged with the following criminal offences which occurred on June 14, 2021 at Lower Burney, St Michael: Unlawful possession of one firearm to wit a Glock pistol and unlawful possession of 19 rounds of ammunition.

He is scheduled to appear at the District ‘B’ Magistrate’s Court, Blackmans, St Joseph on Monday, September 20, 2021. (PR)
