Taylor remanded to Dodds

Dario Darron Raheen Taylor, who was accused of having an illegal gun and also charged with breaching the last COVID-19 quarantine protocols, was remanded to HMP Dodds.

The 30-year-old, of Gall Hill, Christ Church, was not required to plead to having a gun and 13 rounds of ammunition on November 5.

He was also not required to plead that he did contravene Paragraph 26 Clause A of the Emergency management COVID-19 Curfew No. 20 Directive of 2021, that he, being a person in quarantine at his residence, did leave without the consent of the Chief Medical Officer, on the same date.

He was represented by attorney Rasheed Belgrave when he appeared before Acting Magistrate Kim Butcher in the District “B” Magistrates’ Court, sitting at the Eric Holder Municipal Complex in Horse Hill, St Joseph, yesterday.

Taylor is set to appear in the Oistins Magistrates’’ Court on December 13 for the gun and ammunition charges, and District “C” Magistrates’ Court in St Matthias, Christ Church, on December 15 to answer to the breach of protocols. (RA)
