Kirby in medal hunt in the pool

Jack Kirby will have the chance to win Barbados’ first medal at the inaugural Junior Pan American Games in Cali, Columbia.

Kirby has advanced to the final of the men’s 100-metre backstroke event after finishing second in group serie 3.

He goes into the final with the second fastest qualifying time of 56.10. (AGB)
