Vaccination schedule for today

Sharon Moravian Church Hall in St Thomas and the Masonic Centre in Salters, St George, will be the two sites offering the public COVID-19 vaccines today, Monday, December 6.

The church hall will operate from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and the masonic centre will be open from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The Immunisation Unit of the Ministry of Health & Wellness had encouraged citizens and residents to take advantage of the COVID-19 vaccines.

The AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Sinopharm, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available at both sites.  Students 12 to 18 years may visit any of the two sites to receive the Pfizer vaccine.

Anyone wishing to receive their first dose of a two-dose vaccines are advised to walk with their national identification card.

Those eligible for second doses must also travel with their blue vaccination card.

Booster shots for the AstraZeneca, Pfizer, and Sinopharm vaccines will also be available at the two sites for anyone 18 years and older who had their second injection six months ago or longer.

Anyone receiving the booster may present either their blue vaccination card or vaccination certificate.
