DANIELLE TITUS is taking her talents to Jamaica.
Barbados’ future Olympic hopeful is set to lead a talented 30-member contingent including Jack Kirby, Nkosi Dunwoody and McCallum Clarke to contest next week’s CARIFTA Swimming Championships.
The squad was named earlier this week ahead of next Monday’s final practice session at the Aquatic Centre.
It features some 19 pool swimmers, eight open water contestants and a further five artistic swimmers.
Titus heads a strong female group that includes Danielle Treasure, Zahra Gaskin and Dunwoody’s younger sister, Aza.
In the boys’ categories, Kirby leads the charge as a qualifier for the 2018 Youth Olympics and will be ably supported by multi-CARIFTA gold medallists in Clarke, Luis Sebastian Weekes and the elder Dunwoody.
Nkosi Dunwoody and CARIFTA triathlon gold medallist Niel Skinner will double up and contest the open water swim as well. (JM)
