Breakthrough in 2019 killing

A St Philip man is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday in connection with a murder which occurred in 2019.

Police arrested and charged 34-year-old Joel Philemon Maynard of Padmore Village in connection with the death of Kevin Atherley whose body was found with multiple chops at Harrow Land, St Philip on September 26, 2019.

Atherley, who was 25 at the time and also lived at Padmore Village, left home at 6 a.m. to ride to work on his bicycle.
