No Caribbean Premier League (CPL) matches, no problem.

The Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) has major plans of combining with the climax of the “sweetest summer festival” in an attempt to bring thousands of fans to Kensington Oval for New Zealand’s tour of the West Indies in August.

NATION SPORT understands that New Zealand will arrive in Barbados on August 8 and depart August 15 after playing three One-Day-International (ODI) matches against the Windies at the region’s mecca.

BCA president Conde Riley said that while spectators will be disappointed to miss out on watching CPL action live, attention has been shifted towards a mixture with Crop Over and cricket with the New Zealand tour on the horizon. (AGB)
