Members of the Drug Squad have arrested and charged a 52-year-old Barbadian woman with Canadian citizenship for several drug related offences.
They were allegedly committed on Friday, March 2, at Bank Hall, St Michael, and President Kennedy Drive, St Michael.
She is Suzanne Elizabeth McClean, of Thomas Gap, President Kennedy Drive, St Michael.
McClean was arrested and charged with two counts of unlawful possession of cannabis, two counts of possession of cannabis with intent to supply, and two counts of trafficking cannabis.
On Friday, March 2 McClean was intercepted by members of the Drug Squad, at Bank Hall, St Michael, where a search revealed 26 packages, each containing cannabis, concealed in two separate bags.
A warrant was subsequently executed at her residence, where an additional 200 grammes of cannabis was also discovered. She was arrested and charged for the offences.
McClean is expected to appear in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court tomorrow. (PR)
