One man is dead following an altercation at Gills Road, St Michael, around 9:38 p.m. on Tuesday.
He has been identified by a family member as Orlando Maughn of Valery, in the same parish, after being pronounced dead at the scene by a medical doctor.
The second man who was involved in the incident was taken into custody last night, a neighbour told Nation Online, waiting at the scene until the lawmen arrived.
She said she was inside her home when a neighbour called her outside after he heard the noise from the altercation. She saw a man lying in the street and he was bleeding from a laceration to the head.
