Back to school for more St Lawrence students

It’s back to school tomorrow for more students of the St Lawrence Primary School.

The school was closed this week after being severely impacted by the ongoing South Coast sewage crisis. Class four students were immediately placed at the nearby Arthur Smith Primary School, however the rest of the student body remained at home.

However students from Class One through to Class Three will return to class on Thursday, this time at the St Mathias Anglican Church. Children in the Nursery through to Infants B classes will be relocated to the St Lawrence Church and will start school on Monday, March 5th.

This announcement was made by Chief Education Officer Karen Best this evening following a meeting at the St Lawrence Church to update parents and guardians on the plans to relocate the students. (TG)
