Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an accident with injuries, which occurred around 5:30 p.m. today along Graeme Hall, Christ Church. It involved a lorry and a car, and resulted in five English visitors being injured.
The lorry was driven by Joseph Rawlins, 49, of Tudor Bridge, St Michael, while the car was driven by Duncan Cork, 42, who was accompanied by four other English visitors, ages 70, 73, 74, and 70.
Cork received a laceration to his left arm, his 73-year-old passenger received a laceration to the head, and the remaining two passengers complained for pain to the back and neck. Those injured were all transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance for medical attention.
One fire tender, and four fire officers under the command of Leading Fire Officer Collymore responded to the scene of the accident. (PR)
