Class four students from the St Lawrence Primary School started classes this morning at the Arthur Smith Primary School.

The 26 students settled in with the help of their parents, Arthur Smith staff and officials from the Ministry of Education.

This latest development comes after the school was closed on Saturday due to environmental problems caused by nearby south coast sewage spills.

Chief Education Office Karen Best spoke to THE NATION during a site visit of the St Matthias Church and explained that the students had settled in well.

She also said that the St Matthias Church and St Lawrence Church were being looked at as other possible sites to house the rest of the school. (AD)
