Andrea Daniel-Khan is appealing for help in locating her missing 15-year-old daughter

She said Ameera Khan attended the Springer Memorial School on Monday but never made it back to their Savannah Road, Bush Hall, St Michael home.

Daniel-Khan said this was the first time that her daughter had gone missing and as they days have gone by, her family was getting more and more anxious.

She explained that school finished early on Monday and Ameera walked to the Nursery Drive terminal with a group of school friends where she parted ways with them. She never made it to her mother’s work place at Belleville, St Michael where she would normally go after school.

She described Ameera as about five feet tall, petite, with a brown complexion and three piercings in one ear.

“Tell her to come home. Do not be afraid to come home. Her father is worried. This got everybody good,” her mother cried.

Police Public Relations Officer Inspector Rodney Inniss confirmed that a missing persons report had been filed but said due to technical difficulties it was not publicly announced.

Anyone knowing the whereabout of Ameera can contact 232-7257, police at 429-8787, 211 or any police station. (MB)
